English Speaker Journalist

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Journalist to contribute to the production of timely, accurate and interesting news and stories.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research to uncover interesting and significant news
• Interview key persons (witnesses, sources) to obtain more information
• Use findings to construct a well-written article
• Investigate news leads/tips
• Partner with other journalists, editors, and producers
• Demonstrate the ability to come up with ideas and write show scripts
• Establish contacts and sources for use in future research
• Keep abreast of developments by reading updates, attending events
• Comply with the moral code of the profession

Requirements and skills:

• Fluent in English (A MUST)
• Proven working experience as a Journalist or Reporter
• Interest in major news fields such as politics, economy, and sports
• Ability to follow strict deadlines and fast-check information
• Current knowledge of headlines
• Excellent communication and networking skills
• Good observation and deduction skills
• Integrity and morality
• Degree in journalism or a relevant field
